The paisley design was based on the cypress symbol of life. These small pink iterations of that ancient design are woven in lovely green and black silk.

Our Bow Ties are customized and made to order. Please review our return policies carefully.
This woven was once also offered in a celadon sky blue silk as "Pine Hill". It has small paisleys that resemble little tears and are a good choice where you might wear neat and macclesfield. This tie is beautiful and like most Beau-Ties artisanal ties; it's an investment in an American Hand made product that will outlive most of us. You can find cheaper ties imported & on line but they aren't the same quality. Beauties used to offer most ties with the option of having them made "couture" or bespoke. Those custom ties fit perfectly and cost nothing extra. I must confess that I used to "cheat" and buy ties that I liked from wherever I liked as long a they were American, etc.
Paul Stuart in NY was one of our clients when I worked in global America. To this day, the very best shirts I've owned have come from Paul Stuart. I hope that Beauties will someday offer American linen and cotton shirts of that Paul Stuart quality made in America. I'm a Tibetan Buddhist and I'll go way far out my way to buy American and/or fair trade. I did buy some Beau-ties shirts and they fit men with an athletic build without adding lots of extra fabric. They are easy to pop in the washer and a reason to throwout your iron, But I like to treat myself so that they can be starched..
Bow-ties accentuate a confident man or woman's face while earning trust and compassion, and then to mention, Beau-ties are just good fun and don't look sloppy whenone un-knots them and wears the tie draped unevenly around the collar.
Nowadays , if I'm going to cheat on Beau-Ties and buy elsewhere it's gotta be for something very exceptional. One of the most unique ties Beau-ties made for me was from material I had hand loomed and sent to them. This company must work as a team because they turned my silk and wool hand loomed material into something very special. It's the only tie I kept out of a collection of bowties I gave away. But I'm a man LOL, so, sometimes I do cheat and buy elsewhere. A beau-tie tryst if you will :-) Please forgive me. I've never cheated on my Mrs.
Still a stray purchase has to be something special made by American hands or at least artisanal and fair and usually vintage. I sew myself and that's something a man should never admit to anyone, as you'll find plenty of your friends and family don't sew a stitch. ( Just Tell them you don't either). LOL!
Products from Beauties are first class Yankee craftsmanship. The only disappointment being several hair scarves I bought for my Mrs. The material was thin and didn't hold up and I'd like to get a credit for several. Also, I wear Do Rags and I think I may send a brand new one to this company as it would be great in an organic fabric like silk with a little bit of elastic stretch . Do-rags maybe a bit gangsta but they are a good option for men who wear braids and fades and they do tie neatly. I sometimes wear corn rows and box braids. This would be the equivalent of a hair scarf for men.
I must also confess that I still buy an occasional Carrot and Gibbs tie which have buttons instead of sliders to make a custom fit. Once you button it, it's quick to knot. I am sure even Mr. Kenerson would approve of me cheating once in a while if I shared best practices with Bow-Ties.
Now that this company has one of the best shops on line; I would only add this cautionary tale; test, test, and go slow as you add new products. And Mr. Shugar, please give us the brass sliders back, the custom made beau-ties and those amazing materials Mr. Kenerson used to sell as "Bill's Private Stock"! Thank-you Beau-Ties,Ltd. (Finding a package from your company in the mail box is always like: Your Birthday, Boxing Day, Hanukah, and Christmas combined! ) Last, I add this Cypress bow-tie color green might not be for everyone who is making a statement of their politics with their ties. I'm a progressive and can only say thankfully II've been liberated from the red and blue ties with all their connotations and divisiveness. For example, Donald Trumps ties which must each take ten thousand silk worms to make after they eat a forest of mulberry ,to me a tie that big just looks sloppy as do is oversized suits. And you just can't be out of shape. Long ties I do realize are sometimes necessary unfortunately; But they never look good or professional when loosened up at the collar. Even the double Windsor knot is back. I say start over with a Beau-tie .It's good to find a hard man in a bowtie. Yes, a lot of us workout. If Your new to bowties, this shop is an auspicious, serendipitous, happy place to land. As Dr. King, said we vote with our money. It's hard to think of something that costs so little as several bowties or more and what they return to the wearer. Women are also buying these ties for themselves and their partners!
Again, this woven tie does knot up easily. I'd just like to see it offered in more colors . Thank-you again Beau-Ties of Vermont. :-D X
